Feel confident living your life in France.

French lessons for international women who want to speak for themselves, navigate daily life with ease, and feel truly at home in France.

You don’t need perfect French.
You need the confidence to live your life without depending on someone else, or using English all the time.

Moving to France changed many things… including how you communicate.

1. You doubt your ability to speak French

You understand more than you can say.

Or you understand nothing at all...

You think:

  • “My French is terrible.”

  • “I sound stupid.”

  • “I’ll say something wrong.”

  • "French is too difficult!"

  • "I can't learn a new language"

  • "People speak too fast!"

So you stay silent, rely on English and hand gestures.

Over time, this will affect your self-confidence.

2. You have no idea where to start

You know you should be learning French.

On social media, you look at French tips, French words, French grammar explanation.

You save the posts and reels for later, but actually never watch them again.

Maybe you even own a few French workbooks.

But...it is not working.

You don't know how to structure your learning... And end up feeling like you'll never speak French...

There is a way!

3. You depend on others more than you'd like

You want to handle everyday situations on your own, but French still feels like a barrier.

So you often rely on your partner or someone else to:

  • call the doctor

  • talk to a delivery person

  • handle repairs

  • speak at school meetings

  • deal with administration.

You didn’t move to France to feel dependent.

You moved to build a life.

I will show you that you are able to!

How Fluench! helped these women :

Olia Molloy

Started from scratch in October 2025

" What I appreciate most about Romane is how supportive and patient she is. She explains things clearly, adapts to where you are, and makes the lessons feel practical rather than academic. Because of that, I’ve started noticing real changes in everyday life: I can now follow basic instructions in French, I feel much braver speaking French “in the wild,” and I’m even starting to hold small conversations with my partner’s daughter, who doesn’t speak English."

Marissa Williams

Studied with Fluench! for 4 months

"I’ve had a wonderful few months learning with Romane. I initially started this foreign language journey to overcome my panic about speaking. While I was very nervous at first, Romane made me feel completely comfortable. Her patience and kindness helped me work through my fear of speaking the language I’ve always wanted to learn, and it now feels much less intimidating. Romane is incredibly knowledgeable and smart, and she creates a safe, fun environment filled with jokes, laughter, and constant learning. I highly recommend her and I’m excited to come back for more lessons!"

Dianne Bennett

Studied with Fluench! for 3 months

"Romane is an exceptional French tutor. Her lessons are genuinely enjoyable, and the time always flies by. She tailors each session to reflect my specific language needs, which makes every lesson feel purposeful and relevant. I especially appreciate how she builds in revision from previous lessons, helping everything stick and boosting my confidence. Learning with Romane is both effective and fun — I always look forward to our sessions."

Imagine feeling comfortable in situations like these:

Calling to book an appointment

Grocery shopping at your local market

Ordering drinks and food at a café

Participating in family dinners

Going to a doctor's appointment

With the right support, learning French becomes much easier.

Speak with more confidence

You will be able to structure your thoughts and use the language from Day 1.

You will fight the voice in your head telling you you can't speak.

You will learn how to express yourself even when you're not sure.

You will stop waiting to “know everything” before speaking.

→ All these practical skills are acquired while building the strong grammar base that you need to be a confident French speaker.

Become more independent in daily life

At first, you will be able to :

  • Describe your hobbies & interests

  • Talk about your family and your habits

  • Purchase produces from your local market

  • Communicate how you feel

  • Express your future plans

  • Talk about your home, your neighbourhood and your city.

  • Navigate doctor's appointment

Later on you will be able to :

  • Recall past experiences (your last holidays, your childhood, your previous city...)

  • Express your opinion and justify yourself

  • Describe your job precisely

  • Talk about your culture, your country, your traditions

  • Understand French recipes & discover French gastronomy

"When I first arrived in France, my husband was away for work most of the time, so I was often alone with my children. Everyday tasks like going to the doctor, shopping, or chatting with other parents felt overwhelming because I couldn’t communicate properly [...] I now feel capable of handling day-to-day situations, and speaking French in ways I never thought possible."

Understand how communication works in France

Understand the tricks of oral French and why you generally don't understand what people say

Learn useful expressions for daily situations

Learn polite ways to address people

Formulate elaborate questions to request things

Pass the A2 level test needed for long-term residency and citizenship

As of January 2026, foreigners wishing to apply for long-term residency and citizenship will need to pass an A2 French exam.

Showing that you are proficient in French is now required.

It may sound stressful but it is a reachable goal.

With my method you will cover all the knowledge and topics you need to pass the exam.

"With the progress I’ve made so far, I’m sure that when the time comes for my residency requirements, I’ll be able to pass the A2 exam with confidence. I’m very grateful to have Romane as my teacher and highly recommend her to anyone starting their French journey."
