I’ve been teaching French for 5+ years, both online and in classrooms. This isn’t just my job : it’s my passion, and I’m trained to do it well.
I’m living abroad myself (Bulgaria, Hungary, and now Spain), so I truly understand what it feels like when everyday life becomes exhausting because of the language.
I use several languages daily, which means I understand how languages actually work and what it takes to build real confidence in French.
I’m a patient and attentive teacher. For real learning to happen, emotional safety matters. Your feelings and struggles are always respected.
I design most of my resources myself, adapt homework to your needs, and regularly ask for feedback to make sure that what we’re doing actually works for you.

My journey as a language teacher is a blend of formal education, experience, and a deep passion for languages and cultures. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of studying, teaching, and immersing myself in various cultures, all of which have shaped the person and teacher I am today.
Bachelor’s in Foreign Languages, University of Lille, France:
Mandarin Chinese and English language.
Strong focus on history, culture and politics.
DAEFLE Certification (Teaching French as a Foreign Language), Alliance Française de Paris:
French for young learners specialization
Solid foundation in effective teaching methods
Skills in active grammar acquisition, and phonology.

📍 Sofia, Bulgaria (French Institute) : Over the course of 4 years, I taught French as a foreign language to a diverse range of students, including complete beginners, (very) young children, teenagers, diplomatic staff, and foreign students, in both group and private settings. I created educational content : lesson plans, visual aids, e-books. I conducted DELF/DALF exam evaluations. I also worked as a nursery educator with toddlers, enhancing patience, pedagogy, and language demonstration skills.
📍 Hungary (Franco-Hungarian Youth Foundation) : I spent a year as a French Language Tutor for high school students, preparing them for their graduation exam and DELF B2 exam. I led conversation workshops and supported French university applications. I acted as an intercultural mediator during a high-school exchange program, deepening intercultural communication skills and refining teaching methods.
📍Online & at home as an independant teacher : I worked alongside dozens of students (teenagers, young children & adults) completing various goals and guiding them in their language journey & exam preparation. I now 100% dedicate my time to International Women, as it is the group with whom I connect the most and make my skills the most useful.
🇬🇧 English: Fluent, studied since childhood and enhanced by living abroad since 2019.
🇪🇸 Spanish: Used daily in my life in Spain, acquired through the years with natives and a bit of studying.
🇧🇬 Bulgarian: Comfortable, learned through daily interactions and living in Bulgaria for 6 years.
🇮🇹 Italian: Acquired through immersion, it is now more of a passive language in my life.
🇲🇦 Moroccan Darija : Currently learning on my own as a hobby
Other languages I've been familiarized with : 🇨🇳 Chinese ,🇭🇺 Hungarian, 🇩🇪 German, 🇳🇱 Dutch.
My multilingual experience allows me to draw connections between languages, helping my students build connections between their existing knowledge and French.
My language background is what gave me such a wide range of methods to teach my own language : French.
Did you know that Bulgarian and French have surprising lexical overlaps ?
That English borrows extensively from French ?
That the Cyrillic alphabet can help with acquiring French pronunciation ?
And that French and Italian grammar are almost identical ?
These insights are just a few examples of what helps me create a learning environment where language acquisition feels natural and intuitive.

In our lessons, the focus is entirely on you. Learning a language is a deeply personal journey, and while I’m here to guide and support you, the real work happens within you. I can’t force knowledge into your brain.
I’m more like a companion on your path, helping you discover the best ways to acquire and retain what you learn.
It’s a collaborative process, where your efforts, curiosity, and dedication are at the center of everything we do.
Respect is a cornerstone of our relationship. It goes both ways.
I respect your time, your efforts, and your learning style, and I expect the same in return.
Your learning isn’t limited to our lessons. I’ll recommend podcasts, videos, and other real-life resources that align with your interests, so you can keep developing your listening and comprehension skills outside of class.
This isn’t about memorizing lists of words, it’s about immersing yourself in the language !

On the other, I'll always be upfront with you about your progress, and together, we’ll adjust our approach as needed to keep you moving forward.
We all have our good and bad days, being transparent about it will help us navigate our classes.
It is proven that a positive, friendly atmosphere is essential for learning.
I’m not here to be cold or distant (spoiler : I don't know how to do that)

Learning French is about embracing a language that’s as diverse and vibrant as the people who speak it.
Forget the idea that French is a language only for the elite. It’s spoken by millions across the globe, in Africa, the Caribbean, Canada, and beyond; mainly due to France's colonial past.
When you think of France, don’t just picture Paris. France is a patchwork of regions, each with its own identity, culture, accent, and even regional languages. From the North (where I'm from!), to the South, the diversity of its people, food and habits is undeniably wide.
It’s a country shaped by centuries of immigration and cultural exchange, making it a true melting pot where people of all backgrounds, and beliefs contribute to what it means to be French today.
Like every country, France has its own lot of political crisis, economical struggles, and social injustices. Me being French, doesn't imply I position myself as an ambassador for the country nor agrees with decisions that are being made there.
I won’t tolerate any form of hate speech. I stand firmly for a better world, where we're united and mindful of each other. This also happens through language and connection.
